Yobe State Governor, Ibrahim Gaidam, has sworn-in two high court judges who were appointed to the post recently.
Those sworn-in were Hon. Justice Karimatu Bulama Yusuf and Hon. Justice Musa Kyari Kachallah.
The appointment of the two high court judges followed the recommendations of the National Judicial Council.
Gaidam, who congratulated the two judges of the High Court, described them as legal luminaries who have
“distinguished themselves in the legal profession…and have also excelled by making invaluable contributions to the development of the judiciary”.
“As judges of the High Court”, the governor advised them, “they should always strive to abide by the oath of office and allegiance they have taken and set good examples through compliance with due diligence and observance of due process and all their official conducts and procedures”.
The governor pledged to continue to support the judiciary in the state “to ensure that speedy dispensation of justice is brought to the doorsteps of the common man”.
