West Ham’s Felipe Anderson & Lukaku deals draw closer

West Ham & Lazio’s Felipe Anderson

Will West Ham sign Brazilian playmaker Felipe Anderson from Lazio this summer?

The Hammers are in need of extra attacking options, particularly after the recent injury to Manuel Lanzini.

In a bitter and cruel blow, Lanzini’s 2018 World Cup dream has been shattered after he ruptured his ACL on the eve of the tournament.

On Wednesday, Italian broadsheet Il Messaggero report that West Ham have sent representatives to Italy to negotiate with Lazio for Anderson.

The way Il Messaggero present the data, Lazio are willing to allow Felipe Anderson to join West Ham for the right price.

West Ham originally offered Lazio 30 million euros for the 25-year-old. Lazio rejected that offer.

The Irons are tipped to raise their offer to 35 million euros plus bonuses. Will that prove successful?

Il Messaggero note that Laioz originally wanted 45 million for their Brazilian, but West Ham could seal the transfer for 40 million euros.

For the record, Felipe Anderson is under contract at Lazio until 2020. Last season he scored 8 goals and chipped in with 10 assists for Lazio in 32 matches in all competitions.

Lazio’s Lukaku has also been selected by Belgium for their 2018 World Cup.
