Man United fans cry out for one player vs Sevilla

Supporters of Manchester United have taken to social media during the first-half of their clash with Sevilla to plead with manager Jose Mourinho to introduce Paul Pogba.

The two sides are currently locked in action at Old Trafford, having played out a 0-0 stalemate in the first-leg of their Champions League last-16 tie in Spain 3 weeks ago.

Manchester United have been in excellent form since their disappointing showing at the Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, having earned victories over all of Chelsea, Crystal Palace and, most recently, Liverpool.

Sevilla, meanwhile, have picked up 2 wins and 2 losses from their 4 fixtures since the clash, including a harrowing 5-2 defeat at home to Atletico Madrid and a 2-0 loss to Valencia in their last outing.

The starting XIs of both sides were announced an hour prior to kick-off, with Jose Mourinho having sprung a couple of surprises.

The opening 45 minutes this evening saw both sides struggle to create clear-cut chances, with Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi the standout performer in a half badly lacking in quality.

Manchester United’s fans were understandably up in arms regarding the flat performance of their side, with the lack of control gained by Nemanja Matic and Marouane Fellaini in the middle of the park particularly noteworthy.

This has since led to widespread calls from the Red Devils’ fanbase for the introduction of one man, namely Paul Pogba:
