    Liverpool’s maintain their Premier League title hopes on Sunday beating Chelsea 2-0 at Anfield.

    Two second half goals in quick succession from Sadio Mane and Mo Salah earned the Reds the points.

    After the weekend’s action, Liverpool remain two points clear of Man City at the top of the standings.

    Two incidents were reported on social media during Sunday’s match at Anfield.

    Liverpool fans stand accused of singing homophobic songs towards Chelsea.

    In a separate incident, Chelsea’s away supporters had to deal with a lit flare following Mane’s goal.

    The assumption is that a Liverpool fan smuggled the flare into Anfield, and used it as a weapon against the Chelsea supporters.

    According to accounts on Twitter, some Chelsea fans needed medical treatment as a result of the flare.

    Chelsea’s fans also stand accused of bad behaviour on Sunday.

    Liverpool supporters accuse the travelling support of throwing coins into the home crowd.
