Daley Blind to leave Man United for Ajax in ’48 hours’

    Daley Blind is joining Ajax

It’s beginning to look nailed-on that Daley Blind will leave Manchester United this summer.

Blind, who is now a bit-part player at Old Trafford, has been linked with a move back to Ajax.

The 28-year-old, who is under contract at United until 2019, only made 17 appearances in all competitions last term.

On Thursday, Dutch daily De Telegraaf have told their readers that Blind’s move from Man United to Ajax could be completed in the next 48 hours.

Ajax are keen on wrapping up the deal as soon as possible.

Why? Because Ajax are gearing up for the Champions League qualifier on July 25.

Additionally, Ajax want to complete the transfer before Man United fly to America for their pre-season tour.

    Man United’s American tour

Man United will fly to America on July 15, and they’ll take part in five matches.

Those matches will be against Club America, San Jose Earthquake, AC Milan, Liverpool and finally Real Madrid on July 31.

Man United start their 2018-19 Premier League campaign against Leicester at Old Trafford on August 11.

    What a day it was! 🚤🏝 Thanks @piecesof8charters 👏🏻

    Man United’s summer transfers

Less than a month ago Manchester United confirmed the signing of Fred.

Fred, a 25-year-old Brazilian international, had been plying his trade in the Ukraine since 2013, when he joined Shakhtar from Internacional.

Shakhtar accepted a bid of around £50 million for their star man.

Man United have also signed teenager Diogo Dalot from Porto. He’s been tipped to be the long term replacement for Antonio Valencia at the Theatre of Dreams.

Mourinho has also picked up Lee Grant from Stoke City. Grant will be a backup goalie for Man United.
