West Ham United winger set for Turkey?

According to a report from Francefootball this evening, Turkish side Galatasaray have contacted West Ham United over the availability of winger Sofiane Feghouli.

    Mixed campaign

Feghouli, who arrived at the Olympic Stadium on a free transfer from Spanish side Valencia last summer, enjoyed an up-and-down debut campaign in the Premier League.

However, despite his inconsistencies, the talent which had seen the Algerian international previously linked with the likes of Arsenal and Roma was evident on numerous occasions, with the winger racking up 4 goals and 3 assists across all competitions.

    On the move?

Despite the fact that Feghouli has insisted that he is happy at West Ham for the time being, the 27-year-old has been consistently linked with an exit over recent weeks.

Turkish giants Galatasaray are rumoured to be the side most intent on coaxing the talented wide-man away from the English capital this summer, and are said to be in negotiations with the player’s representatives regarding a move.

The Super Lig side are also said to have tabled a bid worth £5 million, though it remains to be seen whether West Ham will be willing to negotiate at such a price.
