#WayBackWednesday: 20 Years Ago, Little Antoine Greizmann Collected Autographs From 1998 World Cup Winners Henry, Zidane & Barthez

Call it ‘destiny’ and you may not be far from the truth as a recently resurfaced documentary footage dating from last 1998 proving as much.

Current French top striker, Antoine Grizmann, as a little lad (wearing 7) is collecting autographs from some members of the 1998 world cup winning side.

In the footage which was reportedly screened just two weeks before France won the 1998 World Cup, Thierry Henry can be seen autographing souvenirs for a couple of young fans.

“They’re our successors,” Henry quips as he, Zinedine Zidane and Fabien Barthez sign footballs, shirts and the like.

Grizmann will lead the French attack as the Les Blues challenge for their second world cup title and just maybe, the universe will serve us something to relish about.
