Spurs fans react to incredible first half vs Borussia Dortmund

    Exciting start

Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund’s start to the Champions League campaign got off to a flyer in the first 20 minutes at Wembley.

The two sides were always going to attack but no one expected what was to come after Son Heung-min’s opener in the fourth minute.

The Korean give the side an incredible start in the game and the confidence was just starting to flow when Dortmund got an equaliser.

This time, it came through Andriy Yarmolenko who completely outdone Son’s strike with an incredible left-footed strike.

Just when we thought the game might calm down, he were to be mistaken as Spurs took the lead only a few minutes later.

Harry Kane was able to brush off a Dortmund defender before expertly dispatching past Roman Burki.

That put the side 2-1 up and the attacking did not stop there, with chances coming at either end, predominantly in front of the Spurs goal.

    Yarmolenko’s strike

Safe to say, Andriy Yarmolenko is certainly looking at possibly the goal of the week with his strike.

Having signed from Dynamo Kiev in the summer as Ousmane Dembele’s replacement, there were big expectations on his shoulders.

This strike will certainly go some way to justifying the price tag set on him after his move.

The left footed strike brought Dortmund level and although the side fell to a Kane goal just after, they are by no stretch out of this game.

    Fans react

While even we were struggling to keep up to date with the scores, Spurs fans were having to make sure they were up to date on social media!

With probably only 10 minutes between scoring, conceding and scoring again, there were some big opinions on twitter.
