Pierre Emerick Aubameyang confirms AC Milan desire on Instagram Live

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang wants AC Milan return

This is turning into quite a rough weekend for Borussia Dortmund and their fans must be hoping they won’t lose two of their major stars this summer.

One of the big talking points of the summer has been the lack of interest in Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon striker was in the early stages of the summer made available by Borussia Dortmund but Europe’s biggest clubs simply showed no interest.

When Robert Lewandowski hinted at a move from Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester United were immediately interested.

Yet, Aubameyang finished as top goal scorer in the Bundesliga last season and even though Dortmund were willing to listen to offers, no one made a move.

What next for Pierre Emerick Aubameyang?

Aubameyang was briefly linked with Chelsea. But, most reports have linked Aubameyang with a big-money move to China.

Even though, Chinese Super League clubs has been far from active in the summer transfer window.

Aubameyang has also been linked with a return to AC Milan, with Dortmund expressing anger with how the Rossoneri showed public interest in their former player.

See: Borussia Dortmund are super angry with AC Milan.

AC Milan not keen on Aubameyang

Aubameyang spent three years at AC Milan from 2008-2011. He was mainly sent out on loan and never played in Serie A.

However, it seems abundantly clear that Aubameyang would love to complete some unfinished business at the San Siro.

The Borussia Dortmund striker scored a hat-trick on Saturday in a 4-0 win over Rielasingen-Arlen in the DFB Pokal.

    “They are sleeping…”

After the game, Aubameyang held an Instagram Live and was told by a Rossoneri fan: “Come to Milan”.

Aubameyang replies, as can be seen on the video below: “I want to, they are sleeping what do I have to do?”

Aubameyang’s hat-trick on Saturday means he is now the all-time top foreign goal scorer in Borussia Dortmund history.

AC Milan, meanwhile have already signed plenty of players this summer in one of the biggest overhauls ever seen at the club.

They are, according to Sky Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, trying to seal a deal for Fiorentina attacker Nikola Kalinic.
