Man United profit from Cristiano Ronaldo exit even if he doesn’t sign

    Man United & Cristiano Ronaldo

Spanish daily AS have an interesting article on Monday looking at clubs who will profit if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Real Madrid this summer.

Several clubs are in the running, including Man United and PSG, while it’s now been revealed that the Red Devils will profit even if they fail to sign the Portuguese star.

Ronaldo, of course, has been at the Santiago Bernabeu for the past eight seasons. During that time he’s won La Liga twice, and the Champions League three times.

Prior to joining Real, Cristiano made his name at Man United. He spent six seasons at the Theatre of Dreams, winning the Premier League three times, plus the Champions League once.

    Money trickles down

According to AS, Man United, along with Ronaldo’s previous clubs Sporting CP and National, will all profit is Cristiano is sold by Los Blancos.

All three clubs would be entitled to share 5% of Ronaldo transfer fee. It’s claimed Man United would receive 2.5% of the deal, Sporting would get 2.25%, while National only get 0.25%

AS have also produced the following graphic below to work out how much each club would pocket.
