Kylian Mbappe dropped from Monaco starting XI amid transfer speculation

Young French sensation Kylian Mbappe has this afternoon been left out of Monaco’s starting lineup for their Ligue 1 matchup with Dijon.

Mbappe has been linked with almost every top club in Europe this summer, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain thought to be the frontrunners for his signature, if he decides to depart the Stade Louis.

When questioned on a possible bid for the prolific starlet on Friday, PSG poss Unai Emery refused to rule out an offer over the coming weeks.

With speculation mounting that Monaco’s Ligue 1 rivals could be ready to splash out a fee of 150 million Euro+ on Mbappe, a growing number of reports have claimed that the 18-year-old’s head has been turned, and that he is pushing for a move to the Parc des Princes.

    On the move?

And this afternoon, Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim has pushed the speculation surrounding his crown jewel’s future into overdrive, having left Mbappe out of his starting XI for their trip to minnows Dijon.

Adama Diakhaby has been selected to partner Radamel Falcao up front for the Principality outfit, with it yet to be seen whether Mbappe is introduced from the bench.
