    Having finished third and then second in consecutive seasons, there is a lot of confidence regarding Mauricio Pochettino’s side that appears to be getting better all the time.

    Ever since the comprehensive 3-0 pre-season friendly defeat to Manchester City, Mauricio Pochettino has changed the message coming out of Spurs.

    Pochettino has confirmed that Tottenham will make signings. That he wants to put pressure on the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Kane.

    And, Pochettino has now pointed out on numerous occasions that Daniel Levy likes to strike deals late in the window.

    And, all signs point to Tottenham making moves in the summer transfer window already.

    Ross Barkley remains on the Tottenham radar and is reportedly keen to join up with Mauricio Pochettino and many of his England colleagues.

    Highly rated Colombian central defender Davinson Sanchez did not play for Ajax last night due to a reported offer from Spurs.

    Celta Vigo midfielder Papa Chiekh has followed Spurs on Instagram.

    And, the supposed bid for Anthony Martial is now very much public knowledge.
