Europa League: Manchester United draw Celta Vigo, Ajax face Lyon
Manchester United have drawn Spanish side Celta Vigo in the Europa League semi final draw conducted on Friday while Ajax is pitched against Lyon.
United boss Jose Mourinho and his Red Devil team battled past Anderlecht in extra-time thanks to a winner from young striker Marcus Rashford on Thursday, that saw the red winning 3-2 on aggregate.
Their semi-final foes, Celta Vigo eliminated Genk 4-3 on aggregate after drawing 1-1 in the second leg in Belgium.
The Red Devils travel to Spain for the first-leg of their encounter on March 4, before welcoming Celta back to Old Trafford the following week.
Meanwhile, Ajax, who beat Schalke in the previous round with a 4-3 aggregate win after extra-time, will host Lyon for the first game between the two.
The French side got the better of Besiktas in penalties in their last-eight tie to reach this stage of the Europa League for the first time.
The victor of Ajax vs Lyon was drawn as the nominal home side for the final, which will be played at the Friends Arena in Solna, Sweden.
