Chelsea star Hazard snubs advances of Real Madrid

According to a report from Diario Gol, Chelsea star man Eden Hazard has informed Spanish giants Real Madrid that he will not be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.

    Blancos favourite

Real have long been linked with a move for Hazard, with Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane said to be a huge admirer of the talents of the fleet-footed Belgian.

The Champions League holders were even rumoured to be readying a world-record bid for the 26-year-old, with the board at the Bernaneu planning for life following the possible departure of Gareth Bale.

    Staying put

However, as per this evening’s report from Diario Gol, Hazard has contacted Real boss Zidane personally, explaining to the French tactician that he has no plans to depart the English capital this summer.

The former Lille standout is said to be concentrating on his return from injury, as well as impressing Blues boss Antonio Conte.

    Hope for Madridistas

However, the report also adds that Hazard refused to rule out a potential move to La Liga in the future, leaving the door open to a potential transfer next summer.
