Chelsea man reveals gift they sent Leicester after signing N’Golo Kante

Chelsea’s technical director Michael Emalano has revealed the club sent Leicester City flowers after watching N’Golo Kante train for the first time after he arrived at the club.

The Blues landed the midfielder from the former Champions of England, and of course went on to win the league themselves.

Kante was their player of the season, and was credited in no small part for his efforts and contribution – and has left a huge hole in the Leicester side he vacated as well, as they struggled this season and ended up sacking Claudio Ranieri to boot.

Chelsea are now Champions and Kante will get the chance to play in the Champions League next season – something he didn’t manage to do after leaving his former club, as Chelsea of course finished tenth and outside of the European places last season.

Kante will be looking forward to showing what he can do against the best of the best next term, and there’s no doubt manager Antonio Conte has his eyes on more silverware to boot.
