Nasarawa United‘s striker Abdulrahman Bashir believes that his resumption to full training session will no doubt boost the Solid Miners steady rise on the league table after his team got a morale boosting away point in Makurdi on Sunday against Lobi Stars.
The Lafia side made the draw possible after surviving a late penalty kick skied by Kingsley Eduwo and Bashir who informed that he will resume full practice session on Tuesday expressed that his return and that of other injured players will help to boost their results and position on the league table.
“I am very happy that we got a draw from the game. It was a tough local derby and the team put a lot to it before getting the draw. The late penalty kick was really hard on us but we thank God that we managed to survive it. We will continue to give our best and my return to training from injury and few others will definite help to improve our results,” Bashir told Goal.
The draw in Makurdi ensured the Solid Miners remain in 11th spot on the log with 17 points from 14 games ahead of their weekend tie with Shooting Stars and the timely return of Bashir who last featured for them on February 12 against Abia Warriors will be a boost.
