Adetunwase Adenle, the Teacher & Artist with 4 Guinness World Records is our #BellaNaijaMCM this Week

#BellaNaijaMCM this weekAdetunwase Adenle, a teacher, artist and marketing consultant has four Guinness World Records, and they all have to do with his work with children.

During the Nigeria at 50 celebrations in 2010, Adenle brought 350 Nigerian children together who volunteered to create the biggest painting by the largest number of people. It measures about 63.5m (208 ft 3.99 in) x 49.3 m (161 ft 8.94 in).

What earned Adenle his second world record was when he organized the highest amount of children reading together in a particular place and at the same time in his bid to encourage reading habits among Nigerian students. This was done in 2011 with a record 4,222 children.

Adenle also set a new Guinness World Record when he brought together the highest number of children washing their hands at the same time. This was to emphasize the importance of cleanliness.

As part of the celebrations for “Lagos at 50,” Adenle set a new record by creating the biggest post office stamp in the world.

Adenle holds a National Certificate in Education (Fine & Applied Arts Education) from the Federal College of Education, Akoka and is the CEO of Ecolde de Dessin which specialises in “educational art events, experiential marketing creative digital solutions, art workshops and exhibitions for African children”.

The platform also provides branding, marketing, and strategy services for companies to help them “unleash the maximum market potentials that exists”.

We celebrate Adenle for using his skills and influence over children (especially those in underserved communities), as a teacher, to impact their lives positively, showing them that they can achieve whatever it is they set their minds to.
