12-year-old Dortmund star scores three in two games for Germany U16s

    Remember the name

Borussia Dortmund’s sensational 12-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko scored another two goals in the Germany U16’s game last night against Austria.

The side played Austria twice and the player also scored in the first clash between the sides.

Playing years above his age group, Moukoko continues to defy the odds and destroy teams who are much more experienced than he is.

Not only has he been promoted up to the U16’s for the national team, Dortmund currently play him in the U17’s after claiming it was unfair to force him to play at a lower level than he deserved.

Since then, the players’ father has had to answer so unusual questions as to the legitimacy of Moukoko’s age as he continues to impress.

“Straight after the birth, I registered him at the German embassy in Yaounde,” explained his father.

“We have a German birth certificate.”

As reported by the BBC, there have been several questions in Germany over the legitimacy of the players age but the German Football Association has explained that everything is in order.

“The DFB has already had a number of intensive discussions with Borussia Dortmund at various levels,” they explained in a statement.

“There is no doubt about the correctness of the age of the player.”

Safe to say, he will be one you will want to keep a close eye on.

But unfortunately for Dortmund fans, he will be unable to feature in the Bundesliga until he turns 17.
